Berkowitz Photography, in the person of Barbara Berkowitz, the owner, asked virtusec.com to help out in organising an exploratory business trip to Dubai scheduled for Janaury 2004. The job spec included organising flights, research on hotels, currency and custom, booking hotel and ground transport. Berkowitz Photography's philosophy is to "create elegant art installations for beautiful places". Barbara is an innovative and elegant artiste delving into the essence of beautiful subjects using colour, form and movement to re-interpret a theme. She uses cutting edge technology and prints onto a range of surfaces: silk, glass, silver voile, copper, flooring and walls. Needless to say that thanks to Barbara's artistry and virtusec's help, the trip was a success and Barbara is off again to Dubai in February 2004.

November 2003
virtusec has entered an agreement with Garda Homes in Italy to run their "virtual" administrative office. Garda Homes provides a "facilitator"service to people that want to buy a home in Italy (Lake Garda) but do not know the language or are not confident enough with the legalities of the country. Garda Homes works in conjunction with Madrelingua which offers a translating service.

virtusec has a stand at the Border Union Show, Friday 25th July and Saturday 26th July.A competition will take place and the prize winner will enjoy a meal x 2 plus a bottle of wine at the renowned Queens Bistro in Kelso.

virtusec is asked by Airhouse Studios Training Centre, to become an invigilator for their ECDL exams. Following this request, virtusec starts undergoing courses and self-training in order to obtain the ECDL certificate.

September 2002
virtusec, with part-funding from Scottish Enterprise Borders, undergoes an SEO.The SEO is carried out by web developer, Stuart Maxwell. The cooperation between superstu and virtusec strengthens the belief that almost everything can be done virtually - Stuart is based in New Zealand and virtusec is based in Scotland (UK).
